Having grown up around so many games and movies, I have sincere memories of tearing open the plastic covers, smelling a video game manual, spinning a disc on your finger as you wait patiently for the drive to open up. Working at JB Hi-Fi I’ve also seen how Disney’s decision to no longer supply physical media for their productions in Australia has directly impacted people who may not have access to streaming sites. So, as a love letter to physical media, I thought I’d reimagine some of my favourite modern movies in a VHS format.
